‘Mike Grant’ Memorial 2km cross country race
SATURDAY 12th. JULY 2008: The ‘Mike Grant’ Memorial 2km cross country
race, will be run as part of the Junior
Braemar Highland Games. ‘Mike’ was a successful local runner and keen
sportsman, he was also a great believer in providing Sport for all no matter
age, shape or ability, this race has been set with him in mind. Entries are welcome from all children who are
8 years old and over, and under 12 years of age on the day of the race. The route will run from the Games Park
in Braemar to the Indicator at the foot of Morrone and back. A training workshop will take place at around
1500 hrs and will lead up to the start of the event at 1600 hrs.

The Indicator 3km cross-country race
SATURDAY 12th. JULY 2008: The Indicator 3km cross-country race, will be
run as part of the Junior Braemar
Highland Games. Entries are welcome from all children who are 12 years old
and over, and under 17 years of age on the day of the race. The route will run from the Games Park
in Braemar to the Indicator at the foot of Morrone and back. A training workshop will take place at around
1500 hrs and will lead up to the start of the event at 1600 hrs.
